It’s a sure sign of Spring when the Antique Extravaganza rolls into Springfield! Expect 2000+ vendors and as many as 20,000 attendees at the Midwest’s largest antique market.
As a former antique dealer – and current collector – I’ve shopped this market dozens of times. You’ll find everything from fine period furniture and glassware, to retro kitsch and antique toys. I’ve always found dealer prices at the Springfield show to be very reasonable and you are always welcomed to negotiate.
A quick tip: If you can make it to the “Early Buying” session beginning at 7:00 AM on Friday, do it. Many of the dealers are still unloading and pricing items they have just acquired from other dealers. You’ll get the pick of the litter, as it were, but you may need to pay a little premium.
The Extravaganza is located at the Clark County Fairgrounds – Exit 59 off I-70. Show hours are:
- Friday 7AM – 12PM $10, 12PM – 6PM $5
- Saturday 8AM – 5PM $5
- Sunday 9AM – 4PM $5
